Maja Schlereth

Maja Schlereth joined the AIMI@FAU lab at the AIBE department in July 2021 as Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Prof. Katharina Breininger. She received her Master’s degree in Medical Engineering, with specialization on Medical Imaging and Data Processing, from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg. Her Ph.D. research project focuses on diagnosis and therapy support for patients with rheumatic diseases. Thereby, a combination of multimodal longitudinal data and deep learning is applied. This research will be carried out in cooperation with the Universitätsklinikum Erlangen – Rheumatology and Immunology. Maja’s research interests lie especially in the application of deep learning to multimodal medical imaging data.
