Lina Mitkov joined the Pattern Recognition group at CAIDAS as a PhD Student under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Katharina Breininger in May 2026.
Lina holds a Master’s degree in aerospace computer science from Julius-Maximilians University Würzburg. Previously, she worked on graph neural networks to predict intelligence and personality traits based on brain MRI data. Her PhD project focuses on the development of methods for the analysis and integration of multimodal microscopy and tomography across different scales. This research is being conducted as part of the Correlative Materials Microscopy (CorMic) doctoral program.
