Welcome Jingna!
We are exited to welcome Jingna Qiu to the AIMI@FAU lab as the second PhD student starting in July! Jingna received her Master’s degree in Medical Engineering from Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nürnberg. She joined the AIMI@FAU lab at the AIBE department in July 2021 as Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Prof. Katharina Breininger. Her Ph.D. research project focuses on breast cancer subtype identification. The project is a collaboration with the Pathology Department at Universitätsklinikum Erlangen. Jingna’s research interests lie in the application of deep learning to medical image analysis.
